J. Michael Miller, DPM is a board certified foot and ankle surgeon specializing in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, sports medicine, and pediatric foot problems. He sees patients in Indianapolis and Avon, IN. Dr. Miller has been in practice in the Indianapolis area for over 30 years.

Dr. Miller grew up in Kokomo, IN. He received a B.A. in Chemistry from Indiana University then went on to attend the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. Following podiatric medical school, Miller completed a surgical residency at Loyola University Medical Center in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery and then an AO trauma fellowship at Harborview Medical Center/University of Washington Hospital in Seattle.

Over the course of his career, Dr. Miller has performed over 30,000 surgical procedures. In an effort to give back to his profession, Miller serves as the Director of Fellowship Training at the Indy Foot and Ankle Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship that he established in 2004.

When he’s not working, Dr. Miller enjoys spending time with his wife, their four grown children, and son-in-law. He also enjoys adventurous outdoor activities including water skiing, wake surfing, mountain biking, and dirt biking.
